Buffalo Cauliflower Bites


If you love hot sauce as much as i do, you will LOVE this recipe. The first time i had these i was on vacation in California and i visited this beautiful little vegan spot in LA right before i got on the plane and headed home. I tried so many things on the menu but this one was my favorite so I HAD to find out how to make them at home. I love a very well seasoned batter. I used a few different herbs and spices in this recipe and i was pretty generous with the seasoning and i don't usually measure so don't hold back! Let Me Know What You Think!


Half a head of cauliflower (More if you'd like)

2  cups of flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp lemon pepper

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp basil

2 cups of water



1. Mix all the dry ingredients together first then add the water slowly until you reach a pancake batter like mixture then set aside.

2. Cut the cauliflower into bite size pieces and drench them inside the batter. I usually just throw as much as i can inside the batter and cover them thoroughly with a fork. When they're all covered throw them into the fryer and cook for about 8 mins or until golden brown. 


3. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. After you remove the cauliflower from the oil, lightly salt them and pour them into a bowl.

4. Pour your hot sauce all over and toss them until its all covered and bake in the oven for about 15-20 mins flipping them halfway through. Let them cool and YOU'RE DONE! Enjoy your delicious buffalo cauliflower! :)
